Flatscherbauer in Lofer

Our property is located 626 metres above sea level, in the Saalach Valley in Salzburg, at the foot of the Lofer mountain range. In addition to an enchanting mountain world and numerous walking and hiking trails, we offer you a break from your daily routine here on the Flatscherhof farmstead in Scheffsnoth by Lofer.

Both sports enthusiasts and those seeking relaxation can achieve their goal in equal measure here. In addition to a wonderful view of the Lofer mountain range, our stylish holiday apartment, which has been awarded 4 “Edelweiss stars”, provides every type of comfort you need to enjoy a relaxing and restful holiday.

Our family:

Located in Scheffsnoth by Lofer, the Flatscherbauer farmstead was first mentioned in a document in 1556 and since 1726 has been a hereditary farmstead and owned by the Wimmer family.

In 1952, my gran Kathi welcomed the first holidaymakers to the farmstead. Later on my mum Marlies continued to manage rental of the rooms with a lot of love and dedication, and has been able to build up a large number of regular guests due to her commitment.

Following the renovation and modernisation process, in December 2015 I was able to hand over the keys to the first guests to stay in our new cosy and comfortable holiday apartment.
